(POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y) CH Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: CHG) will hold its 84th Annual Meeting of Shareholders at the Corporation's headquarters at 284 South Avenue in Poughkeepsie, New York. The meeting will be held on April 24, 2012, beginning at 10:30 a.m. eastern time, and will feature remarks by Steven V. Lant, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The meeting will be webcast live in listen-only mode, and can be accessed in the Investor Relations section of CH Energy Group's website at www.CHEnergyGroup.com. The webcast will be available for replay for approximately 30 days.

CH Energy Group plans to announce first-quarter financial results on the morning of April 26, 2012; no conference call is scheduled.
