| Central Hudson Board Appoints New Officer (POUGHKEEPSIE, NY) The Board of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation has appointed Michael L. Mosher to the position of Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. Mosher will be responsible for interacting with federal and state regulators on behalf of the utility, which is preparing to file its first request for an increase in delivery rates since 1993. |

"Mike's wide breadth of experience provides him with a strong foundation for appreciating the factors impacting our utility operations," said Steven V. Lant, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of CH Energy Group, Inc., the utility's parent company. "We believe Mike will be able to work constructively with our regulators to produce outcomes that benefit customers and shareholders alike."
Mosher has been employed by the Company for a total of 15 years. The Red Hook resident joined Central Hudson as a Junior Engineer in 1985 and worked with large commercial and industrial customers in Ulster, Orange and Dutchess counties before pursuing a seven-year career opportunity outside the Company. He returned in 1993 to subsidiary Central Hudson Enterprises Corporation (CHEC) to serve as project manager, with oversight of energy efficiency and other programs. He was named Vice President of CHEC in 2000 with responsibilities for the Energy Services and Retail Electric Sales divisions. In 2003, Mosher was named Manager of Corporate Services at Central Hudson, assuming responsibility for the utility's purchasing, transportation, storeroom, security and building services functions. In June 2004, he was reassigned to participate in CH Energy Group's Business Development Team. Mosher holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electric Engineering from Union College. He serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town of Red Hook, where he and his wife Venus reside with their children, Gedney and Summer. |
